The FCC and the public interests standard

Please prepare a two to three page research paper (minimum of two full pages spilling onto page three, not including the References section) based on the case study indicated below. You will not be answering the questions at the end of the case study. Rather, you will be forming a thesis question (or research question) and formulating the research paper. Before watching the below video, please familiarize yourself with the videos in the General Course Content, such as the videos on intext citations, book citations, academic journal article citations, website citations, M.E.A.L. Plan, Setting up a Research Paper, and other, along with the Writing Manual, APA Guide, and the Formatting Basics Guide to help you with anything you may need for these assignments. Once you have watched those videos, please watch the following video that explains the assignment:
Chapter 1 of Chilton et al. (2019) discusses the FCC and the public interests standard (Case Study, pp. 24-29). This case study discusses an FCC decision. The FCC is in charge of the information we receive through television, radio, the Internet, and other public means of transmission. This is a very powerful commission. Some of the most recent controversial issues related to the FCC were that of Internet neutrality, which provides that all sites should receive the same traffic as all other sites, and no particular site should be given preference. The words we use, such as profanity and how that affects movie and television ratings, and other issues are all controlled by the FCC.
