Gather information about traits and characteristics of the selected student. 2. Gather professional or scholarly information about traits and characteristics of students with the same low incidence disability. 3. Compare and contrast the selected student with scholarly information.

Part 2 (Week 2): Select and Develop an Evidence-Based Instructional Strategy 1. Based on the characteristics and needs of your selected student, identify an evidence-based instructional strategy to promote problem solving and student learning throughout their lifespan. 2. Create a plan to implement the evidence-based instructional tool with your student. 3. Develop a plan to collect and assess data. Part 3 (Week 3): Implement Evidence-Based Instructional Strategy and Gather Data 1. Implement the evidence-based instructional tool with your student and reflect on impact on student learning, difficulties and/or positive experiences with implementation, and implications for future implementation. 2.
